Behind The Scenes at Rutland Prison Camp!
November 8, 2020 • News
Hello everyone,
Do you enjoy graffiti, ruins, and history?
Then the Rutland Prison Camp, named one of the Top 5 Abandoned Places to Visit by The Daily Voice might be the travel destination for you.
Located in Western Massachusetts, The Rutland Prison Camp was built in 1903 and held minor offenders (petty thieves and drunkards).
While some believe the area to be haunted, during my visit I didn’t feel any bad vibes or experience anything weird. Chris and I walked around and explored the various graffiti areas including the solitary confinement area (depicted above).
The camp was abandoned in 1934 and is now a destination for tourists and passersby.
