Model Spotlight: Brock Grady
November 24, 2018 • News
This month’s exclusive model spotlight features Brock! I first met/collaborated with Brock in Feb 2017 and we have worked on 9 book covers thus far. He has such a fun demeanor and I always have a great time hanging out and working with him. This year he attended his first author events, Shameless in Orlando and Rebels in WV. I can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store.
See more of our work together here.
Read on to learn more about Brock…
CJC: How did you get your start in modeling?
BG: That’s a great question. It began as a hobby and it was a way to escape. My career was very demanding and modeling was my outlet and way to escape my stresses.
CJC: What are your favorite physical features?
BG: I would say i love my back, but i hear that most love my body hair.
CJC: Who/what do you draw inspiration from during a photo shoot?
BG: It all depends on the mood/feel of the shoot. I draw inspiration from the surroundings and then use the photographers vision to capture the true moments.
CJC: What do you enjoy the most about modeling and what do you find to be the most challenging?
BG: Most- Meeting the amazing people that i have since the beginning. All parties involved: Photographers, models, authors! Hands down the best part.
Most challenging- Trying not to laugh. Life is meant to be enjoyed!
CJC: In one word how would you describe yourself?
BG: Persistent.
CJC: If you could have any costar for a photo shoot, who would it be and why?
BG: I have no idea! Too many to choose from.
CJC: Where would you like to travel to in the future?
BG: More of Europe or South America.
CJC: How do you stay in such great shape?
BG: My rule of thumb is: Go to the gym, every day. Dedicate the time & the results will come. I primarily stick to full meals and I do not snack.
CJC: Do you have any interesting or unique talents?
BG: I was a 2 sport collegiate athlete: Football & Baseball. I now play volleyball competitively across the states.
CJC: What is something most people don’t know about you?
BG: When I was younger, I was extremely accident prone. Between many broken bones, staples, stitches, etc. I was known by name in 3 emergency rooms across the state I lived in.
CJC: To date, what accomplishment are you most proud of?
BG: My career path.
CJC: What are your goals for the remainder of the year?
BG: Continuing that career path while trying to work more towards a work/life balance.
CJC: What would be the best way for someone to contact you?
BG: Lol absolutely NOT texting! Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/brock_gradyy/) if i had to pick one.
CJC: Any final thoughts you would like to share with the CJC Photography readers?
BG: It’s been a pleasure meeting some fans this year. I can’t wait to meet the rest.
